FM reception problems
Hey so I have a 2006 acura tl, base with nav us model.
I've looked all over but all I get is something about xm.
I've tested fm/am/xm radio and only my fm radio has reception problems. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Reviving a dead horse. Is there any resolution other than removing rear TINTS? My reception is mediocre to say the least and on cloudier days it is almost non-existent... I don't wanna do satelite radio with subscriptions and my cellular device only has 3 gig plan. Don't feel like upping my data cuz I am paying $115/month already.

If you are paying that much for a single phone, you are doing it wrong.
Antenna issues....I don't recall too many threads that successfully identified FM reception issues that weren't caused by tint, broken connection at back window, or a bad FM modulator was in the path. Only other item I can think of is if the jack behind the head unit came loose. I have never taken this car apart to know how that is setup to know if that is likely or not.

Are you certain it is your tint causing reception issues?
I had FM reception issues couple months ago, turned out that my 12V usb adapter was going bad. When my phone wasn't plugged in it was fine. Plugged it in and got static.

Hey I am having the same exact issue XM radio works great no static, CD player works checked the back of the radio FM/AM connection was plugged. Everything is plugged in radio has lights, asks for code accepts code, Displays work.
FM/AM still does not work. What could it be? Is the Antenna on the roof for XM only or where is the FM/AM antenna? could my radio tuner be bad? help please.
