This morn I opened the garage to find my 05 tl fender lights flickering.The dash lights were flickering also when I got in the car. Now it will not start no click nothing. I guessing I have a dead bat at the least. Any ideas on the flickering lights?

its dead. Call up roadside, they will tow the car or jump the car, take it to the dealer and you should get a new battery for free if is less than 3 years old.

 

My guess is a cell (or two) are gone in the battery and that the resulting low voltage is causing the car to go nuts. Each cell (6 of them) are 1.2 volts. Lose one or two of them and the car won't but dome lights and such might work and other stuff will freak out.

 

Mt battery is dead too. Nothing tuened on. Called dealer and they said it is NORMAL for an 2007 TL S Types after setting for a few days. They say I should run it every 2 days.

Is this right? If so WTF

2nd time this has happened.

Dealer says customers leave car at Airport and they come back to a dead battery. I can't believe this.
