Fixed HFL now what?

Hi guys i have a 07 acura tl with the HFL problem (battery kept dieing). Went to the dealer and he told me that he disabled it. I was checking online and found a guide that says that if you changed the capacitor it should start working. I gave it a try and changed it. I went back to install it in my car hocked it up but the menu where you select HFL and message comes up booting up does not work. Do i have to re enable it or something. Please help.

That means that it is still broken. The "Booting Up" message pretty much means death of the HFL unit. The unit in my 2006 has been booting up for more than a year.

You are OK. The MID is waiting for a response from the HFL that it will never get.
