i wasn't able to access the tsb's on acurazine i hope someone can provide insight of these problems... i apologies in advance if these have been previously informed.

- Poor radio signal after rear defroster is turned on

- Rear rattles when base is turned on

- Auto side mirrors (L +R) don't go down on reverse

1. not sure about that one.

2. thats metal hitting metal located in the subwoofer area. remove the rear decklid and put a small piece of cardboard/foam in between the problem spot. turn your bass up when you have the decklid removed and you'll be able to determine which area to put the cardboard in between.

3. do you have the switch set on either L or R? if you have it on L...only the left mirror will tilt...same for R. if so, and they still don't tilt...sounds like mirror actuators. common issue with these cars. dealer should replace the motors per TSB.

yeah it sounds like an actuator problem for the side mirrors, ill have the dealer review the issue. do you think i should have them fix the other two problems? i do have extended warranty on the car good for another couple of years.

 

Have them fix all your problems, if they can.

I have the poor radio reception and rear deck rattle problem as well. I'm going to try to fix the rear deck rattle myself but the poor radio reception will let the dealer look at.
