Few issues with '06 TL-Reverse tilting mirrors, PNRD lights off, trunk button poppin'

I have an 06 Acura TL. It's a great car and I have never had any real problems. There are a few things that were not working, all of which I noticed this past month. I have some time tomorrow so I'm hoping to tackle these problems and see what I can do.

First Problem: The trunk popper button down by the gas pedals does not work. I know there is a switch in the glove box, but it still doesn't work no matter where the switch is. The only way for me to get into my trunk is with the key fob or by opening the trunk with the actual key.

2nd Problem: When putting the car into reverse, the mirrors do not tilt. I know that only one is supposed to tilt, and that the switch has to be on whatever side you want to tilt. These mirrors do not tilt, no matter if the switch is on L or R.

3rd Problem: The light under the gear selector is out. Meaning, by the shifter- the PNRD lights are out. I am hoping its only a fuse - anyone know what number?

And lastly - The hands free link is no longer working. When I go to the HFL menu, it says on "Booting Up"...

I am very hopeful that all of these issues are fuse related. Anyone have any tips? Thanks!

Bump? I popped the 6 & 7 fuses out to hopefully reset the bluetooth and it's still "Booting Up" so I'm assuming that the HFL unit needs to be replace.

None of the other stuff is working yet, backup mirror tilt, trunk popper, and the gear selector lights.

fuse #8(20 A) is the trunk lid opener solenoid, and #20(7.5 A) is for the power mirror control unit. check those out.

Thanks I'll check them out in the morning. The mirrors tilt when I use the controls, just not when the car is in reverse (no mater what side the switch is set to) -- if the fuse were bad, would the mirrors still function?

check both the trunk switch connections, the one by your knee and also the one behind the glove box.

If the glovebox switch was disconnected like if you were changing the air filter, the trunk switch wont work.

pull the panel under the steering wheel and check the plugs. could be bad/broken switches. Do they light up at night?

The trunk popper button lights up.. Never noticed if the lock in the glovebox lights up or not.

Disconnect or replace the HFL soon or it will kill your battery quick. Mine would die over night when my HFL was acting up. I ruined a brand new Braille battery in a few months because of the HFL battery drain.

It hasn't worked for about a year, but I guess I'll have to hop on that. I might just unplug it for the time being as I can't find a replacement under $160.

That's what I did since I don't use it, but it killed the voice control for the navi. It's only a 5 min fix to disconnect and leave there. I'm suprised you haven't had battery issues.
