I have a 04 WDP with some dents with paint damage on my driver's side fender. I went to a few places for estimates and so far the best price I've gotten was $600. He said that the pearl paints are a little hard to work with and he'd have to blend the bumper, hood and fender for me.

Has anyone had any experience with body pieces being blended to match? Is it worth the price tag? Would I be noticing any body panel mistmatch? My bumper mismatch is bad enough already, I don't really want anything else to look differently...

I've got an 07 Type S which is having some rear bumper issues. I got a quote for a little over $600 for a new bumper, paint, and install...

I can understand if that's $800 since it's rear quarter panel. Mine is similar to that but it's front side.

 

It should be around $40 a dent and $350 for painting the fender. And it's true about the pearl paint cost and level of job difficulty.

 

All depends on the shop/experience/talent as far as match. I've stated this before, when I needed to have the fenders/bumper painted on our WDP, 2 shops wouldn't guarantee a match, but the shop that did the job offered the guarantee and actually sprayed samples to ensure the color match. Turned out perfect, but the price was $1200.

 

Thats pretty crazy...I have almost the same exact dent in the same spot on my driver side rear.
