Hello everyone i recently purchase a 05 tl with nav about 3 weeks ago. but i notice that when i lock the doors with the fob the doors do lock but i dont get any kind of confirmation. when i press the unlock button the door unlock and i see the light flash. when i press the lock button again i dont see any lights flash even when i press the button 2,3,4,5x.. the door do however are lock..

also today i decided to do the test, i let my window go down and i press the lock button to lock the car and arm the alarm and i notice that i dont see the red security light flashing and when i reach my hand threw the window to open the door the alrm doesnt sound off...

which is making me beleive that its not being alarm. i know the car was in a flight front end accident and was repair by dealership.. and when i look at the windows thats at the hood latch everything seems to be connected.. so now im puzzled and lost

 

As far as the confirmation beep, you need to set it up to do that. Look in the MID in the gauge area and find that option in the MID you can activate the confirmation beep along with a bunch of other preferences like headlights going off automatically and doors relocking if unlocked and not opened within a certan amount of time. I'm pretty sure the turn signals should flash on both lock and unlock.

 

Mine doent flash when I press the lock button . And I did the lock test where I lock my self in the car and press the lock button and waited a min and I manually open the door and the alarm didn't go off ... Nor do I see the security light by the door flashing ... When I hit the panic button tho the alarm do sound and lights flash

 

any ideas anyone

 

I have the opposite problem from you. Few times I had left the door unlocked while either getting gas or washing my car, I would open my door and factory alarm would go off. Then I would get a comment from someone standing by "your not suppose to steal your own car!"

 

i even bypass the hood pin in the front i got a small wire and stuck it in the hood pin wire harness to complete the loop just in case the the LOCK wasnt working and still no arming so im believe that it not the hood pin and i dont feel like its the trunk cause when the trunk it open the light comes on, on my dashand when i close it, it goes away, so that signal is working.. all i can think of is a door isnt being registered which is weird cause everytime i press the lock button they all lock and when i press unlock they al unlock without any problem
