Extended Warranty...What should I get replaced?
I need some advice on what I should get replaced with my extended warranty? I have an automatic 05 TL. I figured there has to be something I should get replaced under the warranty rather than having it go bad when I don't have it.
My friend knew a mechanic for Acura way back when and he told him what to say to get certain parts replaced that would eventually have to anyway. I cant get in touch with this mechanic so i was hoping someone has some thoughts on this for my TL.

Two '08 TLs
Not sure what happened way back when, but would be tough for me to tell my dealership to replace something that wasn't faulty. I see what your saying though.
I just bought our two 08's in August and went with the Acura extended warranties. I did just have the complete transmission replaced in mine but it would have been done under the standard certified warranty anyway.
I'd like to feel as though I got something back for the cost of my extended. But aside from sabotaging something on the car, not sure how to get Acura to swap something that's operating fine.

That is true. I guess i never thought of it as insurance fraud.
I'll just bring my car in with my running list of what i think NEEDS to be fixed and I'll hope its covered, lol.
Thanks
