Looking to buy a 04-06 TL off the used market, had my eye out for a while since mine was taken out in an overflowing lake and now there might be a contender or two, so I'm looking to see how much extra I might be spending on top of the purchase price.

My car RIP at 51,200. I had a couple recall services done, but otherwise all I had paid for was new brakes and tires, regular oil changes, etc. Between 52k and 152k, what other service should I expect to perform? I see some people with what might be isolated issues here, but for the most part, how much, within the next few months/year will I be sinking into a used car I pick up?

That link looks great, thanks. I've looked through some but will read it all later when I have more time. One thing I'm wondering is how the 105k checkup was over $1000 for the car in the linked thread, where it's typically $100-$200?

 

The timing belt kit can be found on Ebay for $135+, spark plugs are $100+, coolant $60. If you take it to the dealer it will prob be $1000+ but mine cost me $600ish at a independent shop.
