everything is now fixed
Alright, so I've been out of the TL game for awhile. (busy with life) I noticed that my TL has been making more and more noises lately so I figured I'd take it in to get it look at. It only has 48k on it.
1. I had a clicking noise coming from the front left during acceleration and braking. Acura tightened my axle bolt a little and that went away.
2. Rattling and vibrations from all over the car.. I presume this may have been from my winter wheels (stock wheels with some worn ass tires). I threw my summer wheels on with some new rubber and bam... all rattles ceased, no vibration through steering wheel.. all gone. Btw, sumitomo make some comfortable tires.
3. I had a popping noise coming from the right front. This ended up being an engine mount that was sitting on the rubber. Acura replaced this no charge.
4. Back breaks were making noises when I came to a stop. I think a lot of this had to do with the harsh winter with all the sand and salt. Acura resurfaced the rotors and now thats gone. No charge either.
Overall I was becoming dissatisfied with my overall Acura experience, maybe it was amplified by my day to day stress, but now everything is better. It cost me 63.xx for everything.. this was associated with the oil change. Now, the car has 48k and is an 05 but it runs and feels like new. Just thought I'd post about my experience and to everyone that has ongoing problems, keep plugging away because I think they can all be fixed.
