Im not sure if this is normal or not,

After 10 minutes of driving I notice the Engine Temp would go half way up.

Is this normal?

Any assistance would be much appreciated

You're joking right..?

Have you ever owned an automobile before?

If not, please read your owner's manual (the ENTIRE thing) before operating your vehicle.

Oh and..yes having the temp gauge about halfway up is normal for any car.

so mean to a new guy.. lol.

Yes it's normal.. but if you're concerned you should check your coolant level when the car is cold. It should be around the low level. If it's empty, open up the radiator cap (make sure it's cold!) and see if there is coolant at the top of the rad.. if not then you probably have a leak somewhere.. top off your rad & fill your res to the low level with 50/50 coolant. Check your oil for milkyness (presence of water / coolant).. Check your passenger side carpet for wetness (leaking heater core).. Check your heater core valve for a leak (behind engine on the firewall, has a wire cable & two pipes, 1-in 1-out).. but again.. what you're seeing is probably normal.. plus it's the summer..
