Emergency
You might have to take the interior door liner out to take a look at the window guide. Hopefully you won't need a new regulator. Does it make any noise when you try to roll the window up?
this shit happens to me randomnly ONLY on the passenger side and usually when its cold. When u just pull the window switch for auto roll up it will go back down. What u usually do is try the auto rollup 3 times and then hold the switch up until the window finally goes up....ya ghetto
Yeah, I would try to guide it back up. Then DON'T roll it down again. I would avoid using the auto roll up as well until you get it fixed. Just try to get it to roll up without using the auto. Sometimes the auto has a mind of its own.

i believe this is a common problem on the 3rd gen tl's(i know its happened to me at least twice) i dont remember the procedure but i believe it is in the owners manual. maybe someone else can chime in i know i have seen it on here before.
Will it go up if you just pull the switch up one notch and not to auto? Mine sometimes fail on auto, but always work on manual. Once it gets about half of the way up, you should be able to use auto then.
Mine only act up when cold too.

I got it to go up by manually guiding it up. Haha Square, I was leaving a final exam and I was asking him if he needed a ride home instead of walking when its brutally cold
