Electrical probs after replacing nav drive

So my navigation drive died about 6 months ago, so I finally sent the drive out to Alpine for service. I received the drive back today and plugged it in just to see if it worked; it did.

So, I went ahead and bolted the drive in properly and then cleaned up some extra wires I had in the trunk. I reassembled everything and went to start the car; the alarm starts going off as I try to start the car. I got the alarm to turn off, turned the key back to the "off" position, and tried again. The car turned on as normal. Keep in mind, I do have an aftermarket Compustar 2 way remote start/alarm system.

I turned the car back off and noticed that my navigation drive doesnt seem to be working, the dome lights that are supposed to come on when I open the doors aren't working, and the factory key remote is not unlocking/locking the doors, and the door lock button on the inside of the door doesnt work either. I tried to lock and unlock the car using the Compustar remote, which also does not lock or unlock the doors.

I turn the key back to the 'on' position to turn the car on; the dome lights come on, the doors unlock and lock.

I don't know how to get the door locks working properly again. When the car is off, I cant lock or unlock doors, which means I manually have to go to each door and lock it from the inside.

My navigation also doesnt turn on, the interior lights dont automatically turn on unless the car is on, but I can turn on the map lights manually. Also, randomly my "XM" button on my radio isnt switching to XM, which worked fine until now. And, when I turn off the car, my temperature needle and my RPM needle stay at the place they are at when I stop the car, and dont return all the way to the bottom as usual.

Of course it started to rain at this time, so i couldnt do much troubleshooting.

Any ideas?

All those components are controlled by the MICU which is integrated in the fuse box , drivers kick panel.

Did you unplug the nav drive unit and see if all functions work normally?

Where are these wires that you cleaned up?

hey flyromeo, thanks for replying so soon. Turned out, since I didnt unplug the battery when I was reinstalling the navi drive, i blew the #9 fuse, the 7.5A "backup" fuse. I replaced that, and its all set now, fixed alllll my problems. Damn that was aggravating trying to figure it out!

I know the feeling. I had a leak in my windshield one time which caused some water to get onto the fuse box / MICU which caused all sorts of electrical issues.
Thankfully it dried out and no permanent damage was done.
Had to re-seal the windshield too.
