Dynomax resonator fail

Disclaimer - While most of the resonator / exhaust stuff is posted in the Performance section, this might be a Problem/Fix as well? .

So I added the 18" Dynomax 24235 to my v3 Jpipe and magnaflow setup, and a couple of months later the weld that holds the perforated inner chamber to the casing failed, resulting in the rev rattle in this video. I didn't take a picture of it before sending it back to Amazon for a refund, but it's not a stainless steel product, FWIW. The OEM resonator is in it's place now and I'm good to go. Just thought I'd share the video in case anyone has a similar issue.

(what gives with the double YouTube preview?)

It was an iPhone4, sounds OK on my PC though. This was recorded back in September, so you may be picking up the constant background insect noise of the Florida summer, lol.

And yes it wasn't pleasing driving it around like that. Luckily I kept my OEM resonator, so I put that back in and actually like it better with the MM delete/magnaflows/v3 jpipe setup. Just sharing the experience in case someone else needs to track down that type of noise.
