This ground has probably been plowed before and my apologies if it has. Trying to find a thread on how to replace the Drivers Motor Control (I'm having an issue where I always have heat coming from the vents in the middle of the dash, with none coming to the floor - no matter the mode). Ran diagnostics and came up with middle segment on the drivers side. According to documentation, An open or short in the drivers side mode control motor circuit). I'm assuming this can be repaired or replaced with a little effort, just cant find a thread to guide me.

Thanks for the link
Thanks for the link. Took the motor assembly out this weekend and cleaned it up as best I could. Put it back in and now have no heat (ugh!!!). Ordered a new assembly. Should be in on Tuesday. Is there a trick to getting the nipple that sticks out of the assembly into the hole? I cannot see if it's in or not. Try to tug on the plastic actuator and it does not move, so assuming I was able to put the nipple into the hole correctly.
Finally got the assembly put back together correctly. Holding the motor assembly, oriented how it will be re-attached, pay attention to the orientation of the nipple in the motor assembly. Grab the nylon lever the nipple will insert into and orient the hole in the nylon lever until it will line up with the nipple on the motor assembly. Now, the tough part. Crawl, yes crawl, up under the dash until the nylon lever can be seen when looking up. Now, bring the motor assembly in and insert the nipple into the hole in the nylon lever. Start a screw in the motor assembly to hold everything in place. Put the 3 screws in the motor assembly. Run the diagnostics to confirm the nylon lever moves when the diagnostics switches to 'Lo'.
