Hopefully its not clear coat failure.
Honda has been known to have thin spots here and there on the clear coat. Once it fails you clear is toast and a repaint is needed.
If you have serious paint correction needs, and lack the skill/machine polish tools, you might want to take it to a good pro. Get it clay bar'd before polishing. My guess is the car has never been clay bar'd, waxed well, etc.
Hopefully you just have minor hard water spots. But, severe hard water spots can really etch into the clear, and the best bet is to just minimize so not too much clear is moved around and removed during machine buffing/polishing.

might be water deposits/minerals that dried in the sun on the car, you could visit the wash and wax section of this forum to check out everyone's experience with different products and see which one you want to check out. In any case, meguiars is always good to start off with

I use vinegar to remove water spots. Pour it into a bowl full strength and use a towel to apply it to the spots let it sit for a min or two and wipe off. Try this a few times and it should remove most if not all the water spots. You have to park somewhere else to avoid any more water spots since they will damage the paint pretty quickly, if allow to continue to happen.

I let some jackasses at a car wash do a "$30 hand wax;" and they just waxed over a bunch of hard water spots. I took it to another place and spent $100 or so - they got it out. +1 on the clay bar.
Nowdays, I'd have just done it myself - but I was short on time back then.
