So last year in Feb. when a tech over reved my engine and bent my exhaust valves and I couldn't prove it because the PCM was reprogrammed....blah blah blah.....fast forward through all that and get to the present, but when they "rebuilt" the heads on my car and I paid $1450 for half the work, well guess what!!! They never bothered to check the valve clearances!!! Turns out that some of the valves were out of spec by as much as .200 so instead of being .2 for intake and .3 for exhaust, some were as far off as .500!!! No wonder my car never really felt like it accelerated very smooth! Well that is just the cherry on the top of this whole ordeal that started over a year ago. I will NEVER return to Lindsay Acura in Columbus Ohio and I recommend that no one ever go there either to buy a car or to get service!! If you do, good luck with that!!
The Dayton Acura Service dept. took care of me and adjusted the valves to where they should be and it is AMAZING how much better the car drives! It's like getting a whole new car! Much more fun to drive!! I'm just amazed that this could even happen, but it drives like a bat outta hell now though!! Now I see what a 6MT TL really should feel like and I LOVE IT!!!

how much did the valve adjustment cost you? i myself need a valve adjustment. mines is ticking so badly.
