Drivers side fog light always fails

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone else has this problem. My drivers side fog light always seems to burn out/ stop working. I've neevr had the passenger one go out on me. I havent had the fog light bulbs in long (maybe 2-3 months) and the drivers side went out. Just to clarify when i say fog light i'm referring to the fog light that's in the headlight housing not the fog lights on the bumper. Any help is appreciated. I just find it strange that this occurs (this is the third time). What's the average life of a fog light? a year maybe 2?

Any leakage into the area? Had a pronlem with a taillight years ago as it would burn out after a short period of time The bulb actually had a gray look rather than just the filament breaking. Drove me crazy and it turned out to be a very slight water leak. When the bulb was hot, water dripped down, broke the bulb and the water evaporated from the heat so everytime I took it apart there was no evidence.
Just a thought.

just a thought,

If you have a cold air intake it could be hitting/vibrating the back of the lamp/harness causing a shorter life for the bulb. The AEM v2 leaves zero clearance and the back of the harness is basically touching the cone.

I"ll do a little investigating and see what i come up with. I do have a cold air intake but like i previously mentioned my fog lights are in my headlights not on the bumper as for a leak i have never seen precipitation in there but i will give a look now that the bulb isn't on
