My driver side parking light only works when I use the turn signal. When i turn the parking lights on, just the passenger side glows. this happens also when i lock the doors and the typical "beep" occurs. What could be the issue?

 

Thats funny i just realized i have the same problem on the passenger's side. The bulbs are 7443 i believe and are dual filament meaning that there are kind of two bulbs in one if I am not mistaken. The bulb needs to be replaced because one of the filaments is out

yes- they can look up the correct number at local parts stores- no doubt a special bulb like all the others!
Check the owner book for sure on gen3, on gen 2 you turn the steering to give room for a hand to fit in past the wheel and swap the bulbs- requires undo a few tabs that hold panel in place- pull panel back and there it is
BUT check your owner manual- cant find your book??- here is the free download- or view online- they dont actually make you download it!!=click your year then model
