Driver door lock sticking!

Hey there!

This happened recently, but my driver door lock is sticking.

When I lock my car via the remote, all doors except my driver door lock locks.

I don't even get the headlight flash or beep now because of this!

Any remedies?

I tried playing around with the door lock from inside and when I lock the door or unlock the door, the nub seems to ATTEMPT to go up a quarter way but then gets stuck.

Sometimes if I lock my doors or unlock my doors like 5 times it works.

It's the actuator. I had the same problem last year. I don't believe it was too expensive for a new one.

Here you are Sir: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/f-179-diy-pass-door-lock-actuator-replacement-w-pics-764241/

Edit: It's a little over $20.

Thanks man.

So there's no way of fixing it without replacing the actuator?

I was actually planning on greasing the door lock nub or something to make it "unsticky" LOL

Unfortunately there isn't. This should be an easy DIY for guy of your caliber anyway .
