so ive noticed a couple of time that after locking my doors my drivers side door will still open although the alarm goes off it still opens idk y it does this and i kno im not buggin sometimes i accidently dont hit the open button when returning to my car and i jus open my door like nothing..anybody kno y this happens?

 

The same thing happened on my Audi Allroad. It needed a new latching mechanism.

are you sure the doors lock when using the remote and using the door switch? all doors

 

yeah they all lock i jus sat in my car n made sure of that

 

ok. so if they all lock, do you know how long before the driver door unlocks on its own?

 

this morning wen i got to my car witout unlocking it i jus opened the door..so i closed it locked it and it still jus opened

 

well it sounds like the door latch (lock arm) is not staying in the locked position. if you're meacanically inclined remove the actuator and inspect for broken parts or abnormal wear. if you cant then take it to the dealership.
for some reason i dont think your latch might be at fault.

 

jus got back from acura seems that the actuator was off..now i can sleep somewhat at night though this is stil nyc haha...thanks for ur help
