Door lock/unlock slow first thing in the morning
Recently for about a week or so it takes a long time to unlock doors or trunk first thing in the morning. Light on remote blinks but nothing happens. I have to push button multiple times or hold it for a while. It literally takes me 10-20 seconds. As soon as it works for the first time it becomes responsive and locks/unlocks instantly until next morning.
Anybody has any ideas?

Try changing out your remote battery. Temperature adversely affects batteries and they are consumables after all.

I keep my remote home where temperature withing 70-76 all the time.
I tried to disassemble remote and all I could do is remove small part with buttons on it but couldn't see how to access battery. Will try again.
