Door Lock Actuator? Fuse? IDK
Hey sup all,
This morning getting out of my car and locking it I noticed that my car didn't beep. On my remote no matter how many times I hit the lock button, it doesn't lock. Checked my trunk and doors and made sure they were all closed properly. I also went inside my car and tried to hit the lock button on the toggle and this also doesn't lock. Now this is a very peculiar thing because I have no problems unlocking my car from my remote or toggle button. Now in order for me to lock my car, I have to manually press the locks down, which gets very tedious sometimes lol.
I'm just trying to rule out some problems. I'm gonna check the fuses when I get out. But..
1. Since the car unlocks from my remote, I don't think my remote needs to be reprogrammed correct?
2. Wouldn't a door lock actuator also regulate the lock button as well? Shouldn't the fact that my car unlocks already rule out a faulty actuator?
3. If the problem were to be a blown fuse wouldn't the power locks just not work period?
Did a lot of research, but I'm just trying to rule out the problem. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot!

Weirdest thing too. When I just went to go to my car to check again. The car would now lock from my remote as well as now locking from the inside. I don't consider this problem fixed but what does this mean in terms of the culprit?

Did your door just fail to lock on the driver side? Mine seems to not be locking from both sides. Would this mean I replace the lock actuators on both doors?

It was only my driver side, but if the driver side was unlocked I could use the remote to unlock all the doors, if it was locked it didn't work at all
