Hey guys, so the leather on my driver door is starting to come apart. I've searched a bit and found people use super glue in order to fix it. Would you guys recommend anything else that would do the job? This is what it looks like.
Thanks a lot. Three of my doors have the door panel fabric coming out of their grooves. I tried using a glue stick on the edges but I can see that this spray adhesive will work much better.
That 3M stuff is great...just be sure to protect everything from over-spray. It is tacky as can be and manages to float around everywhere. I used this stuff to do the linings of my kitchen shelves and drawers. A good half of my basement floor is still tacky two years later even though I had laid out a good 3-4' of cardboard to protect the concrete from over-spray.
Have the car sit out in the sun for a while before you tackle this fix. The heat makes the leather easier to work with when forming back into place. Clean off as much old adhesive as you can prior to spraying on the new stuff.
