Spent last night installing my A-spec kit... The center of my bumper where it attaches to the trunk looks odd to me. Is it my imagination or did i miss a clip or something when i put my bumper back on?? Is it supposed to be bowed up like that dead in the middle?

 

that doesn't look right to me. take the bumper off and make sure you catch all the clips when you reinstall.

i'd go out to my car and see if mine looks like that, but i don't have it with me right now.

lol i remember thinking the exact same thing for my car.. it looks the same for me so im assuming it's supposed to be like that!

 

Thanks! I was very careful with the clips (there are no clips in that region of the bumper)... the trunk closes and looks like it should be with the trunk closed. It just looked really awkward with it bowing up in the middle like that.

I wanted to verify with you guys before i go rip the damn bumper off. And... now i won't.

 

my trunk looks like that... whats funny is i have my car for about 6 years and i noticed that this morning....

 

that's what mine looks like. i think it's normal. though i dont' remember it looking like that for the first 6 yrs of ownership...guess i never really focused on it that much until i had my bumper replaced and resprayed last fall. or i just never use my trunk.
