Do your controls get hot?

Lately in my TL, i have noticed that the audio controls on the steering wheel get hot after driving for 30 minutes. No, its is not the heat of my palms as i keep my hands at the 3 and 6 position. The radio in my car is usually off, so it shouldn't be related to that. Any ideas?

It's the mini halogen bulbs in it...

I've noticed it from time-to-time on my 2G, but haven't noticed it on the 3G.

Never knew what caused it; assumed it was the lights.

My audio and cruise control steering wheel switches get warm, but not hot, I assume from the bulbs illuminating them.
