DIY Floor mat fix

So I was due for some new floor mats and called the dealer. He asked me 120$ for a new set of oem mats. I have the tan interior and wanted to swtich to black mats so i went to pepboys and tried on a couple mats. They all look really awkward and dont really fit right. So i got some spare carpet and just put it over my mats and they look brand new and fit perfectly.

i got these things at pepboys

just spray the stuff on the front of the old mats and stick it on the black carpet sheet.

Then flip it over and spray the sides where you can wrap the carpet around to the back side like so...

let it dry and throw some staples in the there to make sure it fits. no one is gonna see the back so dont feel bad if it looks like sh*t

after
