I have a 2004 TL and want to do some of my own maintenance. How difficult would the following services be to do on my own:

- Replace spark plugs
- Replace air filter
- Replace fuel filter
- Replace timing belt

 

Pretty easy once you figure out how to use the search function.

Replacing spark plugs - pretty straight forward.
Just use extensions etc to get to them.
For the rear spark plugs - Just remove the strut tower bar and you should JUST have enough room to remove them.

Replacing air filter - Quite simple.
Just remove the four bolts I believe and move the cover aside (might have to do some extra steps here such as making more room) so you have enough room to pull the old one out and put the new one in.

Havn't replaced the fuel filter or timing belt on my TL sorry
