Did mechanic take my Redline for himself?

I'm got an '07 TL with 60k miles on it and am trying to avoid the 'ol glass transmission curse - I've had 2 Hondas and an Acura before this

Anyway, after much reading up on Acurazine I opted for the 3x3 drain & fill using Redline D4. I noticed an immediate difference the first time around. Faster and quicker shifts. But after doing it the 2nd time I feel like I'm back on the dealer fluid. Shifting is slower and feels less precise.

Is there a way for me to test and see if the D4 is actually in there? I'm paranoid my mechanic put in the cheaper stuff and kept the D4 for himself...

That's why I always stay there and look when someone else works on my car.

If the redline ATF is as expensive as their oil I would never give it to a mechanic to put in. There's just too much of a risk they would keep the fluid and put their crap.

land of the rich, when I did redline awhile ago the first 1x3 I noticed a huge difference in shifting as well but as I changed the other 2x3 I didn't notice a difference anymore and I did it myself. Alot of people say they notice more of a difference during the second drain but for me I didn't feel any bit different after the first drain. Then again I let it drain for a long time as I walked away for awhile while it was draining. Next time do it yourself, it's really easy. Look for the blue bolt to the right (drivers side) it doesn't even take a socket, just a socket wrench with no socket.
