Deteriorating performance during warm weather.
My car seems seriously sluggish during warm weather. I'm wondering if this is from heat soak which would cause the ECU to dial back the timing? Is there anyway I can prevent this?

all cars have a problem with heat soak especially in the summer time.
warm air isnt as dense as cold air = power loss or not operating at maximum.
heat soak = engine heat gets stuck between the hood and engine and has no where to go, IATs go crazy and ECU dials back timing.

I'm well aware of how heat soak works but out off all the Honda/Acura products we've owned I've neve experienced this much of a degrade in performance. My previous vehicle was a 03 Acura CL-S 6MT and it never displayed this to this extent. My wife's 2011 Odyssey Touring doesn't suffer from this, nor does her 2005 or my 2002 S2000.

Thanks for the links as the descriptions pretty much are in line with what I'm experiencing. I think I'm gonna remove all the shrouding that's not necessary and maybe inspect my EGR valve too.
