sorry, but i posted this in the electronics section but no one has really given me an answer and i wanted to try this section of the forum so...

ok so i noticed the other day that my pre-set radio stations got erased and so i thoght maybe the car just reset itself. then i noticed that my dashboard light setting wasn't right either... i usually have it set on maximum brightness but it was set on the highest bar in the scale they show... i always have to press maximum brightness now to get the dashboard lights the way i like them now at full power... usually it would do this automatically but now it stays dimmed and i have to manually press the max power button everytime now...


i was just wondering if anyone knew what caused this "reset" to happen and is there anyways i can fix this? im very ocd about my car and it annoys the hell outta me that i have to press that max power button everytime now. any help appreciated. thanks.

 

Take it in.. sounds like loose connection / short that is resetting the programming.. could be a number of things though.
