Dark Yellow on Front Bumper & Two on Tire Rim
Hand washing my car today, I noticed that I have a small dark yellow spot on my front bumper underneath the Acura letters. I do not have a bra installed on my 2005 TL WDP Navi.
In addition, my passenger side rim has two dark yellow strings about 1/2" long and about 1/8" wide about 1/2" from each other.
I tried using Bug & Tar remover on both locations (bumper and tire rim) with no effect.
If these were bug hits, I would have expected the bug & tar remover to do the job. (It smells almost like kerosene.)
The car has about 1,000 miles on it and this is my second hand washing I performed. The only other washing was performed at the dealership when I took delivery of the car.
Anyone know what can cause these spots and/or how to remove them?
A neighbor has a new Nissan 350Z White Pearl and he had the clear bra installed by the dealer to his front end. He developed an orange spot (mine is more a dark yellow) on the front bumper a couple of weeks after he installed the clear bra. His spot is about the size of a pea.
