something is wrong with your brakes, you must not have oem brake pads. i guarantee you with oem brake pads and rotors, and no air in your brake lines, the car should stop decently quick. people often blame the brakes, but its often that people install inferior pads or something. granted these are not as good as modern sports car brakes, but it can hold its own in many cases.

Well guys I found a NEW problem .. While I was backing up and turning the wheel I heard a noise coming from my passenger side sounding like something was rubbing .. My friend got out of the car n I pulled up n backed up n he said he was hearing a ticking noise as I was backing up.. Any ideas on what it could be? I just noticed it today! This car is cursed I swear!! Lol

turning wheel = power steering

cold = power steering fluid too thick

backing up = most people turn more going backward than forward.

check power steering pump or whatever related...?

i thought i was the only one awake at this time

It is most likely the power steering O-ring, i would start there as it is the most common problem and you said it was in that general area.

Mine made a different nasty noise each cold morning and I was stumped until I joined up here and saw that fix so gave it a try and it worked, even though I later found out the previous owner took it in for that recall obviously it was not fixed.

Hopefully things turn around for ya, seems as if your luck isn't the best lol.

Edit: insomnia sucks a big one.....

Don't be .. Half the time they still won't cover shit or they will find a reason not to lol I still have to pay a " diagnostic fee" and my warranty has a 100 dollar deductible! My issue is that it says if parts break due to " altercations or modifications" it will void my warranty but the dealer sold me the car lowered n I bought the warranty for the car as it is so I hope they don't give me shit for that to!

What do you think might be the cause of the noise?

You're still going to dealer because if I were you I'd fight for the warranty you have. Whatever the cause is.

Well I had my cousin listen and he said something was rubbing against my wheel so I had him reverse n sure enough the inside wheel well there's a piece that's sticking out n my tire rubs against it .. It was a flat drive way so it wasn't as pronounced my drive way is on a little incline n I have to back up at an angle or else I scrape n I hear it more loudly..

Ur telling me I'm going? Lol I think you are suggesting I go instead right? Haha well I got to fix that rubbing part first cuz there's no way I'm paying 100 dollars for them to tell me my tire rubs

Sooooooo my car had been running alittle crappy lately but I tought nothing of it n then today check engine light comes on brought to the dealer and it was driving extremely crappy so they checked n said it was a fuel ratio lean bank code an they said they didn't replace any parts it was just a computer upgrade.... Anyone ever deal with this??

And I explain about the stuttering n the noise it was making when I was backing up n here is what they wrote on the report ...." Fuel ratio blah blah blah customer states sputtering maybe related to check engine light road tested ok did the computer upgrade road tested ok " .. When I question the service guy about the noise he said " the guys didnt hear anything it could be due to different things like ur suspension saggin or the tires being worned out ur car is low and I'm like yea but if that was the problem u guys would of found it when u inspected the car or the first day I took my car.. This is obviously something that just started happening n since when does my tires being worn out make it sound like I'm running over my bumper? Lol I hate dealerships ." ain't that some shit?

Ps they are charging about 1000 plus tax plus labor to change brakes and rotors.. Plus 1000 for Michelin tires.. Lol I don't wanna be a baller no more!

1000 for brakes is just plain dumb.

And for the rubbing, lean, and suspension............

sounds like it was an ecu issue adn they upgraded it but as far as the whole replacing the brakes adn rotors check your owners manual im not to sure but they should replace them because its covered under the warranty, and the air filter just go to home depot and make your own...or go to a honda dealership and find the same part number as alot of the honda accord parts find direclty onto the tl....but the brake job is BS.....go to a different dealership!....

is it still doing the sputtering at low rpm speed...could of been sensors or bad injectors or bad injector o-rings....or even a small tear in a breather line to the engine

It's driving better now and only time will tell if it's still sputtering cuz it does it randomly but it's not covered in the warranty due to the fact it's considered " normal wear and tear" they said oh cuz it's a type s and blah blah blah but I kno that dealer shops are ridiculous with pricings if I could post a pic I would cuz I'm not even lying!! Lol but they test drove it n no " sputtering " happen so if I continue to have that problem it will never be fixed because they will always telle the same thing!
