Damaged fender & bumper cost to fix?

Someone damaged my black tl on drivers side along the front fender and part of the side bumper with a scuff on the headlight assembly with I'm guessing some sort of white plastic. The fender is dented just along the top of the headlamp and the wheel well. The damage is white plastic transfer on the fender, headlamp, side bumper. Is there any buffing I can do to clean it up? What is the cost of the repair i'm looking at? Would a new fender be needed about $350+ painting $250, plus paint front bumper $300. So total for a fix would be around little over grand with taxes? Live with a scuff on the headlight assembly?
If I had friends who worked in CSI maybe they can catch the hit and run idiot who did the damage. Or at least got an idea of what type of white plastic transfer got on my TL and how it got hit.

With it being just a plastic transfer it will more than likely come out with a little elbow grease. Although a picture is worth 1000 words, maybe your dents can be PDR'd

So i got a few quotes new fender $300 7 hours labor $1250+tax thats without a new front headlight housing which costs $750 so the total can be $2100 have $500 deductible. Plus one shop told me maybe he can push the insurance company for a new bumper, which is good for me, can use the old one sand it down and have it ready for future damage which is almost certain to happen.

description price labor paint

rpr bumper cover 2.0 2.4
add for clearcoat 1.0
o/h bumper assy 1.0

repl lt fender 342.65 2.0 2.0
add for clearcoat 0.8
add for edging 0.5
r&i lt liner incl

parts = 342.65
body labor 5hr @ $40.00/hr = 200.00
paint labor 6.7hr @ $40.00/hr = 268.00
paint supplies 6.7hr @$24.00/hr=160.80

subtotal= $971.45
sales tax= $48.57

they may have to blend into the door as well..so that would
be more paint time.plus body time to r&i door components..it looks like you could buff out the
headlamp youself...

Thanks, for the information. The blend of the door i forgot about that. Hate having it painted over too thick of paint coverage much later on poses problems. I'm bringing in the car tomorrow to get it officially appraised. When I first went to the shop sales guy told me they do good work, i was worried about the gap between the hood and fender being wider then original factory gaps. He assured me that only happens when repairs are done on a fender not replacement new part such as a fender. I know this is bs anytime you work taking off panels and putting them back on you will never get it 100% original. So the gap lines on the hood and fender will be to narrow or lower or higher or wider then the other side of the car. This really bothers me because anytime i see other cars with the narrow gaps between body panels tell signs of collision repair.
Maybe they can get the dents out using dry ice or co2. But the other work needed around the wheel well needs to be worked on so the fender needs to come off regardless, thus just replacing it with oem new fender is easier.
As for the headlight i will ask for new one, scuff, scratch is not what I would like to look at no matter how minor. Body shops know once they take off the fender off they will insist on a new headlight housing, saying that the housing clips broke holding it in place.
Blending the paint on the door think it would be neccesary with car 4 years old? I know the pearl will be obvious but after a few months and car washes it will fade.
See what will happen when I take it in tomorow if the body shop is all what they say they are. Insurance guy I talked to said they will guarantee the work 6 month for any damage after the work is completed from the body shop, paint peeling, rust etc...

My neighbor ran into my car last night. I noticed before I even saw the bumper due to the fact my car was actually moved from how I had parked it and Unknown to me at the time Had made me look out my bedroom window but I didn't see anything from three stories up anyway it was moved about a foot and a half although the damage doesn't seem as bad as it sounded There's no leaking But I don't know if there's any other damage besides that the bumper is deeply scratched The airbag did not deploy it seems to drive OK The neighbor left her phone number and name although she does not speak English her daughter return my call and said that they would pay for the damage and did not want to get the insurance co involved my question to you is how many quotes should I give her I work every day and now I have to take time out of my day to get this done I'm sure that the repair work is going to be way more than both of us realize I'm including pictures how much do you think it's gonna cost ?

It's deep

It's separated from the body this is how far she moved it from the curb I don't know how she did that

And also posted the same post twice so I deleted one of the posts.

I'm hesitant to take any action here since it would involve making the post into a new thread and moving it, which might make it hard to find by the OP, so I'll let the 3G mods watch this and take the necessary action.
