Damage bumper part questions
Damage bumper part questions
Hi, I'm kinda new to this community so i'm still learning how to put profile pictures and stuff sadly, bare with me!
So some person pretty much hit my car while it was parked. Attached below is the picture hopefully!
What I'm wondering is what is the park that is below the headlight for the front bumper to attach on (That black plastic looking piece or next to the hole). I think its a Spacer. But I'm not 100% sure and i been researching it for hours but don't know the proper name for it.
I was going to buy all the parts since the insurance helped me out and put it all on myself since it's a easy fix to do.
Some help could be appreciative!
Thank you guys!

The piece sticking out looks like the part of the bumper that snaps into the lower headlight frame / bumper mount.
I'd just pull the bumper and reset it into the mounting area, it's sheet metal type material and should be able to be bent with ease if it is damaged.
The part you think is damaged is #9/15 in the image below, but you seem to be seeing the tabs just to the left of the #1.
Edit - Good time to refinish your headlight lenses with the bumper off.

It may be #16/17, which is made out of plastic and extends to the amber area of the headlights.
