D light goes off then on when accelerating

Tried searching but didn't see this particular problem mentioned. When I accelerate, from a stop, my D light goes of then comes back on. Loose wire somewhere, position sensor or transmission issue? No other problems with the transmission when driving except some hard shifting sometimes. 5 speed auto by the way.

Ain't that the truth! I was planning to replace mine when I put new brakes on last week, but then I saw how far in there it was and decided not to. How'd you end up doing it? Did you come from directly underneath or in the front?

I took the tire off and went in from the side. Didn't try from the bottom but I guess that could have worked. Take the plastic off and reach in. By the way, I used a O2 sensor socket, which is a 21mm I think, to take the big nut off the sensor. Used a screwdriver to bend back the metal washer with tabs then used pliers to bend them back when the new one was on.
