Curb rash - what type of sand paper?

Got a curb rash on my Type S rim, what type of sand paper should I get to make it less noticeable. Hopefully the wifey will let me buy some new shoes before summertime comes around

how deep did you go? You may need to just clean up the area with alcohol, apply some filler on it, sand it down to level, prime and paint to match the rim.
