hey guys just the other day, a rock hit my windshield and not the crack just got even worse. acura of ramsey is charging me 770 for just a windshield and glue. do you guys know of any place where i can get a cheap windshield

sorry to hear that;but there is no deductible on glass just call your insurance and tell them.it should be free.

 

I paid about $300 through Safelite. I think they are nationwide. Don't get it done at the dealer. Search is your friend.

 

It's not worth the possible premium hike if you can replace your windshield for $300.

 

Comprehensive coverage should not raise your rates when you use it.

Or take it to a place in the phone book - ask what kind of glass they use- most cities have 1 or 2 suppliers and everyone buys from them.

Ask if they offer chip repair or other warranty

The dealer probably calls an outside installer to do the work- then adds a margin on that and you pay the result
