my lower part of the seat(where your butt sits) side bolster and upper side bolster(by the seat belt) is totally wearing out and it seems like the color is rubbing off. my car is an 2007 type S with 35k on it. this has been like this since like 15k. its worse then what you see in the pic. but i mean the seat shouldnt be doing this, i clean and condition at least once a month and i use good stuff on the seats. so there is no reason it should be doing this.

my question is, is this something acura will cover with the warrenty? i also have the acuracare warrenty too (bumper to bumper) one. any help is greatly appricated.

Bring it in and they'll let you know. I would say if it's worse than the pic, they should.

You would have had a better chance at 15K... now they might say its wear & tear.

changes from dealership to dealership on whether or not they are willing to cover it under warranty. i have noticed if you go to the dealership that you get most of your work done they will be more likely to help you than another dealership. but if one says no keep trying till you find one that will do it for you. best of luck!

yeah , im going to call them and see what they say. my acura dealer is pretty lame though, they wanted 200 to adjust my ebrake cable
