So so as of A few hours ago, I now have 2 Doors that DO NOT open from the inside. The Drivers Cable just had to have its green plastic piece broken when removing it from its station when I was attempting to take the panel off!!
But it before I attempt to fix the Drivers Door, I need to figure out why the rear passenger door still won’t open from the inside. Even after having the cable replaced with A New OEM cable..
Oh yah, I also start hearing A knocking kinda Sound from the right side(opposite side of battery). When turning the AC On while driving or parked with the Engine On.
Hey you guys, so this just happened while driving. All these warning lights appeared out of nowhere. I’ve tried turning off the car and back on, but still nothing. Any ideas to what’s going on here? Prior to this happening I didn’t have any lights showing on the dash!
1. Plastic becomes brittle and weak with age. Sometimes it breaks when you look at it for too long. Glue it for cheap fix, replace the cable for the proper fix.
2. Why rear door still doesn't open? You sure that the "switch" that is on the side of the door - the "child lock" thing, that disables the interior door handle, is not set, right?
Something like:
3. Maybe one of ABS sensors went bad? All yellow lights are related to ABS / traction control. Read codes. That usually tells you most of the story.
All four of mine are broken. Use some duct tape to tape it down to the door.. on the side opposite to the door handle. That piece has to be secure from sliding back and forth for the handle to work.

Yes I’m sure the child lock isn’t on, Chad what piece are you talking about? I replaced the cable that had the green piece that was broken.
also just in case anyone breaks their green piece on the door handle cable when taking it off or taking their door panels off for what ever reason.. I was able to epoxy the drivers side green piece on the door handle cable. I was replacing the oem speakers with aftermarket speakers and broke the green piece since it was pretty brittle.
But since it was A clean break, I was able to cover it with A strong epoxy. Once the epoxy was dry I covered the entire green piece with the 2 Part Epoxy, using A soft paint brush. Basically to reinforce it until I was able to get A new cable in.
I only did that because 1-I just got new Tint, and 2- I use this car to deliver in the mornings. So I needed to be able to use the inside handle since it’s been raining in the mornings so I can’t have the window down all the time!
