Consistant hiccup at high rpm only in first?!
So for a while now I've had this hiccup. It only occurs in first gear, at around 5,500rpm. It basically feels like you hit the limiter for a split second. Its always only in first, fairly consistent, and always in the same rpm area. VSC is off, car has plenty of oil, and I'm stumped. Is it possible the vtec solenoid gaskets need to be changed?

check the map sensor, it might not throw you a CEL.
