Condensation in headlights
Condensation in headlights
I've got a pair of blacked out headlights done by JnC on my 05 TL. It's recently rained like crazy in Boston and I'm afraid some water may have leaked inside the headlights. Right now there's quite a bit of condensation in both headlights and I'm not sure how to get it out. Should I try to heat the headlight with a blow dry? Any suggestions would help.
This is just an idea, and has worked for me in the past:
Blow hot air into the headlight, and suck it out of another hole with a vacuum. i.e pull all bulbs out and blow hot air into the foglight hole. Suck it out at turn signal hole. You might can even try blowing in different holes and sucking in the other.. Also do this while your inside, if there is any moisture in the air outside, the moisture is liable to re-enter the headlight. The main focus is doing it while your inside, in a controlled environment.
Don't JnC's headlights have a 1 year guarantee not to leak?
