Rather replacing new lower control arm at cost of $850 cnd at the acura dealer i went with the advise on forum to press them bushings on my own, how hard can it be.
Luckily i got the tool quickly being local from ebay.
9 circle got to admit it did the job heavy constructed and needing two 27 mm wrench got the job done with ease.
Watching youtube videos of Honda Acura compliance bushings instal i could not find the tool they used.
Schley Products Honda/Acura Front Compliance Bushing R&R Tool (SLY-68100)
Lucky i went with the route i did because my on passengers side upper rusted fork bolt head broke off. Didn't need to remove the fork, doing lower control arms short cut shown in youtiube video.
Didn't have 27 mm deep socket available sold out in stores. Bought two 27mm wrenches instead at Auto princess. Would be easier, quicker to press the compliance bushings using my Milwaukee impact 1/2" 27 mm wrenches
Need to buy me 27 mm deep impact socket just if i ever need to work on compliance bushing ever again. Doubt i need to do it ever again...
Most on the forum suggest 4 hours for the job to be completed. I started at 11 am finished around 12:30am shows you patience and troubles you encounter trying to take the control arm off entirely. Having trouble removing lower ball joint pounding the hammer for hours did not want to budge. Tool removal of lower ball joint is must. I gave up and decided to do the compliance bushings short cut method instead.
With success and problems of one side of the drivers side bushings was going in crooked i did the pressing twice to remove it. Got lucky on my first attempt on passenger side smooth as butter pressed in nicely.
