color of dash

color of dash
IS the dashboard color black or dark gray for 2004 acura tl with black interior. When you look at the molding around the vents, that looks black compared to the dash itself. Looking to install cover lay so just wondering what the correct color would be to match.

They sent me color swatches to match color as close as possible. I also had same concern. Black seemed to blend in the best.

well the dash has probably slightly faded due to the Sun's UV rays so maybe that's why it looks a little lighter

dashboard color
Thanks for the input guys. Appreciate the feedback. What do you think of the cover lay? Does it look ok? My cracked dash looks horrible now
