I have a service minder code A12. I've had Acura do all of my other services, but I changed out my own cabin filter based on a thread here and I think that's all the A12 is (besides a oil change).

If I change the oil and call it good, will the serice minders go away? How do I reset them?

Also, I'm almost at 60,000. What service should I do? I'm not big into doing silly things, but the things that really SHOULD be done...IE, spark plugs. I guess I'll do those too.

Anything else?

Mainly, will the reminders reset automatically if I just change the oil? Thanks.

Sparks should be good until the 105k maintenance. I would look into replacing your fluids around 60k

 

@60k I did my tranny and coolant.

 

A12= oil change/tire rotation/replace engine air filter/replace cabin filter.

The MID has to be manually reset. It is simple to do!
