Clutch slipped 3rd to 4th. Car is supercharged. WTF
So lately, ive been drivin her a little harder, due to the cold weather, bec its soo much faster. When getting on i95, full throttle last night, ran out 3rd gear and shifted 4th. All i heard was whining (from the supercharger) but the car did not accellerate!!! its a 2006 with 39k miles. I dont drive my car that hard, and have NEVER done a burn out in it. Why would the clutch be going already?
Im assuming the supercharger is responsible for this?

Depending on how hard those 39k miles have been driven. You could have a bad clutch or you toasted your tranny. How does the car hold up while you are driving in normal conditions between 3 to 4th gear?
its fine. if i hot rod it its 20-60 runs, or 75-120. i never ride the clutch, and the shifts are crisp. i am bewilderd. i really dont beat it that bad. most of the time i granny the car.
but last night wide open, 3rd to 4th. the car didnt move, but made noise.
classic slippage. im wondering if the flywheel is fried too?

See if it duplicates again next time you go on WOT. Mine is a 5AT with 65k miles. It runs ran like a champ until the cat convt went and got it replaced. The pulley tentioner is a bit lose so I am replacing it soon.
