Clutch Issue

Hey guys im new to the forum ....i have a 2004 acura tl 6 spd.....the problem im having is i think there might be a clutch fluid leak....whats happening is when i go and really get on the gas after a few shifts my clutch pedal feel is engaging right at the bottom or right at the top....so basically if i dont hammer the gas the clutch always releases in the middle but if i get on her the pedal feel changes as in where the clutch engages?....anyways hope i explained that properly and just curious if anybody else has come across this issue.

Thanks

Rob

Rob,
Does it get stuck after a high RPM run?

Ya i guess you can say it gets stuck and it is only when its a high rpm run exactly....if i drive her conservatively it doesnt happen.

When I bought my TL. My clutch displayed the same symptoms.

I tried every possible fix.
tried slave cylinder check valve delete.
I tried putting in new clutch fluid.

nothing worked except for changing out the clutch.
sadly, your clutch is on its way out.

your clutch is on its way out....its not dead yet.
but it will be dead.

How did I know your exact same symptoms?
because it happened to me and the only thing that got rid of the problem was changing the clutch.
soon, it will start to slip in higher gears. 5 and 6.

and I guarantee that your brother in law didnt pull the clutch to inspect the clutch material.
if he did he would have found that the pressure plate would have been scored with heat marks!

No he didnt take it apart or anything but he did tell me if you put the car in 5th gear and try to drive it should stall if the clutch is still good....if you can drive from a stop in 5th and doesnt stall then the clutch is going.....anyways thanks for your feedback and i will probably just wait until it is almost dead before i replace it.

Right, it will soon start to slip in 5th and 6th.
because mine did.

I wanted to solve mine so bad, I kept playing with it. kept revving it.
high RPM runs, and stuck clutch!!
then finally one day; it started to slip in 5th and 6th
