Clogged windshield sprayer?

My reservoir ran dry a few days ago. Just filled it back up with fluid. Pulled the sprayer stick and both jets worked however, the passenger side sprayed what looked mud for a second or two and then stopped all together. Driver's side still works fine.

I'm thinking the pump sucked up some dirt and clogged the line. What does everyone recommend doing to fix it? Anyone taken off the plastic trim that the jets sit in? How difficult? Suggestions, please.

its fairly simple. remove the covers on the bottom edge of the windshield, and you will find the hoses running underneath all the way to the fluid reservoir.
