Hey `all,

For some reason my cigarette ligther is not work no more. I think a fuse my went bad. Funny part of it all i have no idea where to find the fuse box for the cigarrete lighter.

ps. I don't smoke, just need it to connect my gps lol

 

Cigarette lighter?

I've got two power plugs- one in the lowest front console compartment under the radio/Navi and the other in the lower armrest compartment- but no lighter.

I don't know where the TL's fuse boxes are, but i think one is near the hood release handle above the driver's footwell and the other is in the engine compartment. Try a search for "fuse replacement" - that should pull up some threads with photos too.

 

The fuse box is located on the driver side kick panel, there is a cover that you slide back and forth to reveal the fuses. Look on the inside of the cover and it will have a diagram, and should be able to figure out which one it is. its an ACC fuse I know that, but which number I dont recall

 

How do you install the oem lighter without ripping apart the dash? (I thought it was just a plug-in but it's the whole socket)

 

this won't help you at all but

the acura cigarette lighter and the door visors are the greatest gifts you can give to a TL smoker.

 

Its very simple, removal of about 10 screws and a few clips, should take about 20 minutes to take apart, 5 minutes to install, then another 15 to put back together.
