If you can, please type out what you mean to say so it's easier for all of our members to understand and try and help.

For the scratches, you can probably buy some compound and take care of some of it. In some areas it looks like the paint is down to the plastic so all you can do is put some touch-up paint on it.

Now the rough shifting into first can be caused by a lot of things and be fixed by a number of things. Seeing that your brother is 17 I'd imagine that his driving style isn't very laid back, but somewhat spirited. I'd suggest that he reset the car's ECU and shifting history. After that, check the color of the transmission fluid, it should be a pinkish red. If it's brown your in a little bit of trouble.

All im saying is proofread before you post, I hate threads where I have to decipher what people are asking. That should be a rule on this forum, we are not all 10 year old's im pretty sure a little bit of thought can keep everything clear and to the point.

Ironic

Asking a 14 year old kid to write lucid, mature and grammatically correct posts is like asking a 80 year old woman to run a marathon.

The kid is obviously excited about his brother's ride. I doubt the questions he asked or the answers he was given will result in any appreciable value. The older the 3G TL becomes, the more accessible it will be to younger drivers *ahem. Which means the maturity and intellect of the 3G side as a collective becomes more shallow. I used to be on this side everyday helping new & old members. But when you see these type of posts every other day or the same question being asked for the 100th time it gets old, fast, which is partly the reason why respected members don't hang out here anymore and why 3G TL owners have become the laughingstock to the world. Next time.. move to the next thread. There's more than a few members who refuse to correct their writing style or even acknowledge their style of writing is r1tard3d & mor4n1k!! -.-.

smh I almost bought this very type s instead of the nbp i eventually got, and I amost wish I had bought it to save it from shit like this. Anyways, I test drove this exact car as well, (sterling mccall acura, 20k miles, certified), and everything seemed peachy with the sportshift etc etc, and i doubt the trans fluid is it since you just got it and i know for a fact that it's a certified acura......

Just sayin.
